Small Groups

Small Groups

During this time of social distancing, we are meeting in “virtual” spaces to continue to connect in our small groups. Connecting with others to pray, share our burdens and look to the God is more important than ever. All are welcome!

We consider small groups the heart of our church. Weekly small groups provide a safe space to belong and grow in faith. If you’d like help finding a good fit, contact Amy Ross, pastor of small group ministry at or call 610.565.1200.

Our group seeks to create a safe space to bridge people from different experiences together as we pursue freedom in Christ. We envision this group to include those who have been affected by substance abuse, either personally or through a loved one, as well as people who have no connection with substance abuse but feel they want to pursue greater freedom in Christ. Each week we’ll worship, study scripture, and pray for each other and our loved ones. If you feel this group might be for you, we would feel honored to have you join us.

We are a kinship group located in South Jersey and we couldn’t be more excited to have a BRV presence in the Garden State. We will meet every other Friday starting on February 7th. We will have a simple dinner together, and we are excited to begin a new book study this term, Twelve Voices for Truth:  A Study of Minor Prophets by Jack Hayford.  Here is the book overview from the publisher:  “For many Christians, the Minor Prophets can seem distant and incomprehensible. Twelve Voices for Truth shows how these ancient prophets still speak to believers today. By exploring each book’s theme in the context of history and revelation, you’ll learn how the prophets speak to you today. Though the books may be minor in length, they are major in the truths they teach, including: the majesty of God, courage and hope, injustice and judgment, trusting and loving God, and many other spiritual precepts.”  For those of you living in South Jersey, we welcome you to join us.
